What to Expect From a Newborn Session in Christie's Studio

Newborn sessions are slow, calm, and completely baby-led. This session was photographed in my studio using natural light, soft swaddles, and simple props that I provide. You don’t need to bring anything except your baby and a little patience.

This was a newborn + posed session, which means we focused on both gently posed newborn images and relaxed family photos.

The Studio Experience

My studio is designed to feel quiet and comfortable. Natural light keeps everything soft and timeless.

Parents often love that they don’t have to think about styling or setups. I take care of all of that! 😃

How Long Does a Newborn Session Take?

Plan for about 2 hours. Sometimes a little less. Sometimes a little more.

The timing depends on:

• Baby’s feeding needs

• Diaper changes

• Comfort and soothing

• Sibling cooperation if siblings are involved

There is never a rush. Breaks are expected and welcomed.
