Milestone / Birthday Sessions at Christie Gare Photography! Frisco Photographer

I've had a lot of requests lately for info about cake smashes/ birthday sessions at my studio! I thought I'd write a quick post, with photos of course, to help explain.

My most typically recommended package is to use a Mini Session (30 minutes) which is perfect for this. It allows time for 2ish outfit changes, plus a change into the 3rd smash outfit. In my studio, I can set up a couple different props/backdrops to change the look a bit.

I will say this - I'm not an all inclusive milestone session photographer. I do NOT provide the cake (although, Market Street makes adorable and affordable ones! Highly recommend!), any particular decor, outfits, etc. I'm always up for any ideas you may have, but simply do not have that many options in my prop closet 😃.

This little guy rocked his session and went with the more simple look! ALL props were mine except for what he was wearing (including the 1 hat). The cake stand is mine, but the cake came from Market Street (highly recommend!)

This mama asked if we could get some sibling photos for a few shots! Outfit changes were minimal, so this allowed more time for that with no additional charge. Because of this, there was no additional set up/banners/decor besides the cake. Mom provided the cake and outfits. I provided all other props (boho bed, white chair, bed, cake stand).

Mom provided the cake and outfit /headband! The rest is mine and available to use (cake stand, chair, boho bed, white chair, etc).
